KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo Valley Museum has a full slate of events planned for Monday afternoon’s eclipse.
Planetarium Theater Coordinator Mark Reed says you won’t have to drive to southern Illinois or Kentucky to see totality.
“In the Stryker Theater, we’ll have the eclipse webcast from NASA,” Reed said.
Weather permitting, you can also step outside and enjoy 83 percent coverage in Kalamazoo at 2:23 p.m.
A limited supply of solar glasses will be available, as will telescopes with sun funnels. Solar tubes and solar boxes will also be available for indirect viewing.
Free showings of “Eclipse 2017” also also scheduled for 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
