ALBION, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The 1988 stabbing death of a man in Albion has been reopened. The Albion Department of Public Safety in conjunction with Olivet University’s Criminal Justice program is looking into the death of Henry Lawler Junior.
Lawler was stabbed to death on December 11, 1988, and was found by officers behind the Paramount Lounge on Austin Avenue.
While there has been very little information over the year as to who may have stabbed Lawler, the Albion DPS is asking for the public’s help. They say information you might have from that time could prove valuable in solving this case and bringing closure to the family.
ADPS is working in cooperation with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, the NHBP Tribal Police and the Criminal Justice program at Olivet College.
