BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM/FM) — Police are investigating after a 17-year-old Detroit girl drowned in a Battle Creek hotel swimming pool Friday.
She was found unconscious by friends after 10 p.m. CPR was initiated immediately, according to a press release.
She was rushed from the McCamly Plaza Hotel in the 100 block of Capital Avenue Southwest to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Detectives say they found no evidence of foul play during their initial stage of the investigation.
