POKAGON TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM/FM) — Sheriff’s deputies in Cass County say a 19-year-old woman was taken to a hospital in Dowagiac by ambulance Wednesday after rolling her vehicle and striking several trees.
It happened before 2 a.m. According to a press release, Regina Terry swerved to miss a deer that ran out in front of her vehicle on Peavine Road near Sink Road.
Investigators say alcohol isn’t a factor.
