KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety is thanking numerous citizen tipsters who told them them about a drug house in the 1300 block of James Street in the Edison Neighborhood.
Late Wednesday, public safety officers stopped a car coming from the home and found two handguns, drugs and known felons inside. Arrests were made.
That gave officers the probable cause they needed to get a search warrant for the home. Inside, they found two more men with outstanding warrants. They also found heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana.
The two vehicle occupants were taken into custody on drug charges. Additional charges may be sought against others.
