SAN SALVADOR (Reuters) – At least six people have been killed in a landslide in El Salvador, and around 35 are missing, the government said on Friday.
Interior Minister Mario Duran said the situation was “difficult” in the village of Los Angelitos in the central western municipality of Nejapa where the landslide occurred.
“It’s estimated that 35 people are buried,” he said.
