EDWARDSBURG (WKZO-AM/FM) — Cass County Sheriff’s deputies are trying to figure out what caused a single-vehicle crash northwest of Edwardsburg early Thursday that hospitalized a 20-year-old man.
Investigators say Milam Mazak of South Bend, Indiana, lost control of his vehicle on Conrad Road near Tiara Trail after 7:20 a.m.
He reportedly crashed the vehicle into multiple trees.
Mazak was taken by ambulance to South Bend Memorial Hospital after being extracted from the wreckage.
Investigators don’t believe drugs or alcohol were factors. Mazak was wearing his seat belt.
