KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — One of two suspects in the murder in June 2021 of 33-year-old Gerryon Kye in Kalamazoo is now charged with killing him.
Isaiah Willhite was arraigned yesterday on a felony murder charge along with home invasion and two charges of felony firearm.
Willhite and another suspect are accused of demanding a large amount of cash from the victim before shooting and killing him.
Both suspects were wearing masks.
