KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Two of the five teenagers who died in a fiery crash in Comstock Township early Saturday morning have been identified.
Deztanee Cobb, 17, and Marshawn Williams, 15, both died when the car they were in struck a tree at high speed along East Main Street near Docsa Street. Family members have identified two others as 15-year-old Corravion Murphy, who they say was driving. and his friend, Jaquerious Hegler, who was also 15.
The family of the fifth teenager has asked for the name be withheld until positive identification is made.
A vigil was held Saturday night in LaCrone Park for the victims of the crash.
Greif counselors will be on hand at some schools in Kalamazoo on Tuesday.
