KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — While the nation recovers from one natural disaster and is in the middle of experiencing a brand new one, Kalamazoo will mark the 16th anniversary of one of the nation’s worst man-made disasters on Monday.
The annual commemoration of the 9/11 terrorist attacks is set for Monday night.
The Patriot’s Day event, which has also become a celebration of the work of first responders, is also expected to salute the thousands of police, fire and rescue teams who are working the two hurricanes.
The ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Bronson Park.
