EAST LANSING, MI — The MSU Spartans are struggling to play a consistent 40 minutes. Those ups and downs and excellent the point shooting from the Nebraska on Sunday evening led to a 77-70 win for the Cornhuskers.
Malik Hall rebounded from a bout of the flu to lead the Spartans with 22 points and seven rebounds. Tyson Walker scored 17 and A.J. Hoggard added an even dozen. But that was about it for the scoring. Not enough Spartans shot well.
For MSU, it get a break from Big Ten plays with a date against #6 Baylor on Saturday at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
