MIDLAND (WKZO-AM/FM) — Attorney General Bill Schuette is expected to announce he’s running for governor Tuesday night at an annual barbecue fundraiser in his hometown of Midland.
He has been acting and fundraising like a candidate for better than a year.
Not to be outdone, Lt. Gov. Brian Calley has announced he will be holding a series of town hall meetings around the state on the future of Michigan, to inform him as he considers running for governor.
Everyone expected Calley to announce months ago at the Mackinac Policy Conference. Instead, he launched a petition drive to install a part time legislature in Michigan.
