STURGIS (WKZO AM/FM) — A couple from Sturgis who are already being held in the LaGrange County Jail in Indiana on Larceny and drug charges, could also face a laundry list of charges on this side of the border after search warrants were conducted on their home in the 700 block of Market Street.
Police say they found methamphetamine, marijuana, stolen generators and golf carts. They say the garage had been turned into a make shift chop shop with a stolen car inside that had been partially stripped of parts.
They also seized unregistered handguns.
Sturgis Police Detective David Males says they will be seeking charges against the 31-year-old female and 34-year-old male.
