KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo Public Library is holding hour-long meetings today at its five facilities to get input from the community on what people want in a new director.
Those will be held starting at 10:15 at the Oshtemo Branch; 12 p.m. at the Alma Powell Branch; 2 p.m. at the Eastwood Branch; 3:30 p.m. at the Washington Square Branch; and 5:30 p.m.at the Central Library.
Marketing and communications director Farrell Howe says they want to know what people feel is needed in the next director and calls their feedback vital to be sure they hire the right person who is a good fit.
A survey is also available on the library’s website until 8 a.m. tomorrow for people who can’t attend one of the sessions.
