RICHLAND TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — A Three car crash in Richland Township that left the three drivers injured, could have been so much worse if the four children in two of the cars had not been properly strapped in.
It happened on Gull Road near North 28th Street Saturday afternoon just after 3 pm. Deputies say a driver strayed across the centerline and struck two cars coming in the opposite direction, with enough force to flip the third car onto its roof.
All three of the drivers were admitted to area hospitals in stable condition.
Deputies say none of the children, aged 1, 2, 4 and 12 were injured because they were properly secured, even though two of them were in the car that flipped.
The at-fault driver was cited for careless driving.
