KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Portage woman was killed and several other people injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Stadium Drive Friday afternoon.
At 12:17 p.m., Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers responded to the 3600 block of Stadium Drive for a report of a vehicle crash involving three vehicles and a total of four occupants.
One occupant had to be removed from a vehicle by responding public safety officers using vehicle extrication equipment.
One of the patients was taken transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced deceased as a result of her injuries. She has been identified as 22-year-old Audrey Hensley of Portage, MI.
One patient is in critical condition, while the other two suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Excessive speed is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash.
