KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Vandals who damaged picnic tables, fencing and tipped over a planter at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market are being sought by Public Safety.
Volunteers have come forward to make repairs and the Market place has remained open.
Mayor Bobby Hopewell says it’s a special place, but it’s also a seasonal thing.
Its last opportunity to shop in the evening this season will begin Thursday evening at 6 pm.
The Farmers Market gives local farmers and other local outlets a place to sell their goods.
It’s located on Bank Street in the Edison Neighorhood.
