PORTER TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 19-year-old man from Colon suffered non-life-theatening injuries in a one vehicle crash in Cass County Sunday morning.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says around 5:20 a.m. Sunday deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle injury crash in Porter Township.
They say Caiden Adams was traveling southbound on Lewis Lake Road when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree near Hodgson Street. The vehicle then caught on fire.
Adams was wearing his seat belt and alcohol and drugs are suspected to be a factor in the crash.
Adams was transported to to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation.
