DORR TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — UPDATE: Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020, the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office announced that John Ashley Adkins has been located. The department thanked all those who assisted in the search for him.
In a related matter, a second missing man from Dorr Township, Russell Thomas Bockheim, was also safely located Wednesday.

The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday, Oct. 26, 2020, they are searching for a missing Dorr Township man.
Sheriff’s authorities say 46-year-old John Ashley Adkins was last seen on Sunday, Oct. 25, around 9:30 a.m. at his residence.
Adkins is believed to have left on foot and was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, denim jeans, black shoes and a black hat with lime green lettering.
Adkins has several tattoos including one on the right side of his neck, right forearm, and the names of his two children on each of his wrists.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Adkins is asked to contact the department at 269-673-0500.
He is the second person reported missing this week in Allegan County. Police are also searching for a missing man who could be in the Kalamazoo area. More information on that case can be found here.
