SPRINGFIELD, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the persons responsible for spray painting suspected gang signs, profanity, and swastikas in the City of Springfield’s Upton Park area.
The vandalism was discovered just before 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning. The Sheriff’s Office says several area residences, vehicles street signs and park benches were vandalized overnight.
While no suspects have been taken into custody, investigators say numerous specific items have been located that will hopefully assist in further investigation and identification of the suspects.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau is assisting in the investigation. Extra patrols will be conducted in the area.
