KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — With the November 3rd election right around the corner, Governor Gretchen Whitmer is making several stops in the West Michigan area to campaign for democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
She is on a four day “Soul of the Nation” Early Vote Bus Tour for Biden’s campaign, making stops at car rallies, early voting sights, and other election events.
The governor will visit Grand Rapids at 9:15 a.m. Monday for a voter mobilization event with 3rd District Congressional candidate Hillary Scholten and then stop in Kalamazoo at 10:45 a.m. where she will be joined by State Representative and 6th District Congressional candidate Jon Hoadley for an election volunteer appreciation event.
She will then head over to Benton Harbor at 12:15 p.m. There she will campaign with Chokwe Pitchford, the democratic candidate for the 79th district in the Michigan House of Representatives.
This comes just a day after the governor attended a car rally in Wayne County’s Woodhaven with Congresswoman Debbie Dingell and other elected officials.
