PORTAGE (WKZO AM/FM) — Portage Police say they may seek charges against a driver who they claim ran a stop sign at West Kilgore Road and Old Colony Road and slammed into another vehicle.
It happened just after 2:00 Sunday morning at the border between Kalamazoo and Portage.
They say a 27-year-old Kalamazoo resident who drove his Chevy Impala through a stop sign, slammed into a Honda Pilot, causing minor injuries to two occupants of that vehicle, who were treated and released at a local emergency room.
They suspect the at-fault driver had been intoxicated and will submit their findings to the prosecutor’s office.
