MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WTVB) – The University of Michigan kicks off the 2020 football season on the road against Minnesota tomorrow. The game marks the 97th meeting for the Little Brown Jug, the oldest trophy in college football.
The Wolverines and the rest of the Big Ten will play a shortened nine-game conference-only schedule this season due to Covid-19.
Michigan State University begins the 2020 football campaign tomorrow against Rutgers. The Spartans host the Scarlet Knights at noon in East Lansing.
This will be the first game for new MSU head coach Mel Tucker, who took over the program following Mark Dantonio’s retirement in February.
