HASTINGS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 35-year-old Hastings man has been charged with criminal sexual conduct, possessing child sexually abusive materials, and using a computer to commit a crime.
Michigan State Police arrested Chad Morris after an investigation found he had allegedly possessed and shared child pornography from a computer in his home. Evidence found at the home also pointed to implicating Morris in the sexual assaults of two adult victims, and both of them have been identified.
He was arraigned in 56-B District Court.
The MSP Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force made the arrest and is encouraging parents to talk to their kids about safe use of the internet.
