JACKSONVILLE, FL (WTVB) – Rookie D’Andre Swift ran for 116 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Detroit Lions to a 34-16 win over the Jaguars in Jacksonville Sunday afternoon.
Matthew Stafford passed for 223 yards, including a TD strike to T.J. Hockenson, as Detroit improved to 2-and-3. Both of the Lions’ wins have come on the road this season.
Kenny Golladay had four catches for 105 yards in the victory.
Gardner Minshew threw for 243 yards and a touchdown, but was also picked off once and lost a fumble for Jacksonville. Keelan Cole Sr. caught six balls for 143 yards for the Jags, who lost their fifth straight since a Week One win over the Colts.
Jacksonville had just 44 yards rushing.
The Lions play at Atlanta next Sunday.
