BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — For the third time in as many months in Battle Creek, a fire has broken out at the home at 162 W. Fountain Street, and that makes it very suspicious.
Fire crews were dispatched at 9pm Saturday night to the familiar address for fire crews. Once again the fire broke out in the back of the building, this time spreading to the interior, damaging a bathroom and spreading into the attic.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames, but not before they did $10,000 damage to the home.
Fires also broke out at the home on September 15th and October 16th.
Fire investigators suspect arson.
