PORTAGE (WKZO AM/FM) — A special memorial walk/run to remember murder victim Theresa Lockhart will be held this evening in Portage.
The event will retrace the four mile route that Lockhart and her running club used to take every Wednesday night, starting and ending at the YMCA on West Centre Avenue.
Lockhart disappeared in May and her body was not found until last month, after her husband hung himself and confessed the killing in his suicide note.
Participation is free. The signup begins at 5:30 and they will begin the run at 6.
It’s suggested you dress appropriately for the weather and wear lights or reflective clothing because you will be dealing with traffic during parts of the event.
