ALLEGAN TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A concert stop near Allegan by country superstar Luke Bryan is expected to cause traffic tie-ups in the area Saturday.
For his “Farm Tour 2023,” Bryan is performing at six farms all over the Midwest. His third stop is at John Schaendorf Dairy, 2369 28th Street in Allegan Township. The show and its online parking passes are already sold out.
Michigan State Police at the Wayland Post and the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office say with the concert occurring in a rural area they expect the following roadways to be impacted:
28th Street
30th Street
116th Avenue
122nd Avenue
125th Avenue
128th Avenue
Other roadways around Allegan and Hopkins are also expected to be impacted. Traffic will be most impacted after the conclusion of the concert around 11:00 p.m.
When the event ends, 28th Street will be closed for a ½ mile north of 122nd Avenue to accommodate southbound concert traffic.
28th Street will remain open north of the closure but will be heavily impacted by exiting concert traffic.
