Crash between a motorcycle and an SUV in Portage sends two to the hospital

PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Two people are hospitalized after a crash between a motorcycle and an SUV in Portage Tuesday afternoon.

Portage Public Safety says a motorcycle was heading east on Romence Road Parkway when the SUV was turning out of the Sam’s Club parking lot to head west on Romence. The 31-year-old Kalamazoo man on the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and is hospitalized.

The 76-year-old Kalamazoo woman driving the SUV is also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened just before 5:00 p.m. yesterday.
