KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A domestic abuser in Kalamazoo, who locked his victim and the police out in the cold Saturday night, is now cooling his heels in the Kalamazoo County Jail on an assault charge.
Police responded to the 4000 block of Nancy Lane and found the 38-year-old suspect had barricaded himself in the home, leaving the victim outside in the freezing weather.
Officers obtained a warrant and after a two hour stand-off, they forced entry into the home and busted the suspect for domestic assault. .
