(MARCELLUS TOWNSHIP) –Most of the hundreds of slide-offs and crashes that have occurred since the snow started falling have been injury-free fortunately, but not all of them.
Cass County Deputies report that they were dispatched to a crash scene just after 1 pm Saturday along Marcellus Highway near Finch Road. They say 23-year-old, Meredith Robinson of Marcellus, was West Bound when she lost control on the icy roadway and collided with an oncoming vehicle.
She was was transported to Borgess Lee Hospital in Dowagiac for treatment.
The other driver, a 68-year-old from Marcellus was not injured.
Deputies credit seat belts for preventing more serious injuries.
