ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A suspect with outstanding warrants spanning multiple counties is now in custody following a traffic stop in Fabius Township.
St. Joseph County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop a motorcycle for a traffic violation on US-131 near Wilbur Road in Lockport Township, north of Three Rivers, around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, but the driver did not stop.
Authorities continued pursuing the motorcycle and a mechanical issue eventually made the biker come to a stop on US-131 near Gleason Road in Fabius Township.
The driver, a 32-year-old man from Galesburg, was taken into custody after he was found with several outstanding warrants out of Kalamazoo, Allegan, and St. Joseph counties.
The driver was lodged at the St Joseph County jail and are charges are pending.
