KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Township police have released the name of the victim of a car pedestrian accident at West Main and Nichols Road Tuesday night.
They say that 81-year-old John Simpson was attempting to cross West Main against a green light and was not in the crosswalk when he was struck by a west bound car.
It remains under investigation. The driver apparently was not cited and not injured.
