DEARBORN (WKZO) — AAA of Michigan says gas prices on average in Michigan have dropped another 14-cents in the past week.
The statewide average now stands at $1.91/gallon. That’s a $1.41 below what we were paying at this time last year.
Many stations on the Western side of the state are charging between $1.70 and $1.80 per gallon of self-serve regular.
Patrick DeHaan at Gasbuddy.com doesn’t think that number is sustainable and he would not be surprised to see gas prices jump back up to $1.99 or $2.09/gallon sometime this week.
