THREE RIVERS (WKZO) — A tragic fire in Three Rivers has killed two toddlers.
Neighbors on South Erie St. called 9-1-1 when they heard Antonisha Winters yelling for help, trying to smash windows to rescue her boys.
The first fire crews on the scene walked through flames to rescue the toddlers, finding them in a middle bedroom, where the smoke and flames had gotten to them.
2-year-old De’Marion and 4-year-old Darnell Winters could not be revived.
The State Fire Marshall is investigating.
