DOWAGIAC, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Five people are now in custody after a search warrant turned up guns, drugs, and stolen vehicles in Cass County.
On Thursday, the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant in the 30000 block of Edwards Street near Haines Street in Dowagiac. There they located methamphetamine, heroin, drug paraphernalia, illegal firearms and stolen motor vehicles.
Five people were arrested for the following charges:
- 28-year-old man: felon in possession of a firearm and outstanding warrants
- 30-year-old woman: possession of methamphetamine
- 28-year-old man: possession of methamphetamine
- 31-year-old man: felon in possession of a firearm and maintaining a drug house
- 31-year-old man: felon in possession of a firearm
The suspects’ names are being withheld pending their arraignments and the investigation is still ongoing.
