DETROIT (WKZO) — The Detroit Tigers are avoiding arbitration with pitcher David Price. Multiple reports say the two sides have agreed to a one-year, 19.75-million-dollar deal for 2015. The 29-year-old left-hander went 4-and-4 with a 3.59 ERA in 11 starts for Detroit after being acquired from Tampa Bay in a three-team trade last July. Price went 15-and-12 with a 3.26 ERA last season overall. The 2012 Cy Young Award winner is 86-and-51 with a 3.21 ERA in seven seasons overall.
