TEXAS TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office says for an unknown reason a vehicle driven by an 83-year-old male drifted across the centerline of West Q Avenue in Texas Township, went off the road to the left and struck multiple trees down an embankment around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle sustained fatal injuries due to the accident.
Alcohol and speed are not believed to factors in the crash. The accident is still under investigation by the Kalamazoo County Sheriffs Office.
