OTTAWA (Reuters) – At least 10 people have died after a vehicle crash in the Canadian province of Manitoba on Thursday, CBC News reported, citing an unnamed source.
CBC reported that the crash involved a semi-trailer truck and a Handi-Transit vehicle near the town of Carberry in southwestern Manitoba.
The Manitoba dispatch of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police did not immediately respond to a request for details. The RCMP had said on Twitter earlier on Thursday that it was “on scene of a very serious collision.”
