KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – With Kalamazoo Public Schools Board of Education member Tandy Moore stepping down from her role as Trustee, the board is now looking to fill that vacancy. Moore announcement her resignation at the boards last meeting on June 8.
KPS officials say those interested can fill out the application online at kalamazoopublicschools.com or pick up an application in person at the KPS Administration Building at 1220 Howard Street between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Applications are due by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20.
After all applications are received, remaining trustees will review them and select candidates for interviews, which will be held on July 8, when the appointment of the new trustee will be made as well.
Officials go onto say the vacancy is for a term effective upon appointment through December 31, 2024.
