Saturday shooting incident in St. Joseph County under investigation

STURGIS TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A suspect has been identified following a shooting incident north of Sturgis on Saturday afternoon.

St. Joseph County Undersheriff Jason P. Bingaman reports that Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department were called to a parking lot in the 69000 Block of M-66 at about 1:50 p.m..

He says several persons were reported to be arguing and shots were fired at a vehicle as it drove away. No injuries were reported.

Deputies continue to investigate the incident.
