LANSING (WKZO) — A new poll, the first conducted on the possible success of that road construction ballot in May shows supporters have some work to do to sell it.
Right now 49% oppose it and only 43% favor it, with 8% undecided.
We don’t know how credible the poll is. It was conducted by Survey U.S.A. for a pro-marijuana organization.
It also asked the question, would you prefer using a tax on marijuana to fix the roads. That was favored 64 to 28%.
When asked about it, Governor Snyder said it was still early in the process, but that he didn’t see marijuana as the solution to potholes and crumbling bridges.
