KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A driver was seriously injured in a crash where they rearended semitruck and trailer that was stopped on the roadway making a delivery on Thursday, June 1.
Deputies with the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 7200 Block of East D Avenue in Richland Township around 10:55 a.m.
On scene, the driver of the eastbound vehicle that hit the semi had to be extricated by the Richland Fire Department and transported to a Kalamazoo area hospital.
Deputies say no one else was injured and believe speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
