DETROIT (WKZO) — Attendance at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit edged out last year’s figures. Sunday’s gate of nearly 103-thousand pushed total ticketed attendance to 808,775 which was higher than last year’s total of just over 803-thousand.
Press Preview days brought more than five-thousand journalists from 60 countries and 40 states for the reveals of 55 vehicles and seven concept cars. The Charity Preview raised 5.3-million dollars for children’s charities.
The total economic impact to the region from the auto show is an estimated 400-million dollars.
