LANSING, MI — Ingham County Health Officer Linda Vail this weekend issued four countywide emergency orders to keep effective numerous COVID-19 protections, including the mask mandate.
Vail’s order requires people to wear a face-covering in any indoor public space in Ingham County and requires people to wear a mask outside if proper social distancing is not possible.
Another order places limits on gatherings in the county. Residents still can’t have more than 10 people at an event. Other orders require bars/restaurants to keep the capacity load below fifty percent and keeps in place employee screenings at work.
Ingham County health officials say the county is at level E, or the highest level of risk for COVID-19 in the state.
