ANN ARBOR (WKZO) — The interim athletic director at the University of Michigan is eying at least one night game for the Wolverines in football this fall.
At halftime of Sunday’s Michigan-Michigan State basketball game in East Lansing, Jim Hackett said the prime-time game will either involve Ohio State or the Spartans, but not both. Former athletic director David Brandon had kept those matchups with Michigan’s top rivals during the day.
Three games have been held at night at Michigan Stadium when the Wolverines hosted Notre Dame in 2011 and 2013 and against Penn State last year.
