DETROIT (WKZO) — General Motors hourly employees will be receiving profit sharing checks of around nine-thousand dollars later this year. The company reported a profit of 2.8-billion dollars for 2014 despite the massive recall of vehicles for defective ignition switches. By comparison, hourly employees at Ford Motor Company will be receiving a profit sharing bonus check of 69-hundred dollars while Fiat-Chrysler hourly workers will get 2,750-dollars in profit sharing checks.
