GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) — There’s good news for West Michigan’s manufacturing industry. According to a report from Brian Long, an economist at Grand Valley State University. Long says new orders were unchanged last month, but production levels kept growing, though at a lower rate than they did in December. His report also says the unemployment rate in Kalamazoo County fell to 3.9-percent.
