MUSKEGON (WKZO) — The woman who stopped and called police after hitting a man lying in the road on Apple Avenue in Muskegon is now facing charges.
Ronna Lifer was the second driver to hit Rory Robinson, and police have not located the other person yet. She admitted taking six Norco pills and smoking marijuana before the accident, but claims to have a medical marijuana card and a prescription for the painkillers.
The Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office says even with a prescription for marijuana, people aren’t allowed to drive with THC in their system or while under the influence of the drug.
