FLINT, MI — General Motors is recalling just over 40-thousand Chevrolet Silverado pickup trucks that were built in Flint. The problem is serious enough the automaker is telling owners to park their trucks until the issue is fixed.
The pickup trucks, from 2019 through 2023 model years, are being recalled due to the discovery of a possible brake fluid leak that can result in a short circuit and a fire.
The automaker goes so far as to tell truck owners to leave the recalled vehicles outside of their garages until the repair is made. GM says they do not know of any injuries from the issue yet.
I used to work for gmspo in Flint. They already know what’s wrong with these vehicles before they put it on the market. GM is so big (they think) so many people that have to die before they even come forward with recalls.
